What a record represents
PickleFinder’s active dataset has 824 normalized listing records. Records combine practical directory fields such as location, recorded court type, source links, and selective access signals. 824 active records have a source or website field, and 515 show a last-verified date. Those fields are reported as recorded, not as a guarantee that a venue is open today.

Rules used in reporting
Sam, Founder & Editor, is responsible for the editorial method described here. The directory uses official municipal, facility, club, and booking sources where a listing provides one. Unknown amenity, rental, lesson, cost, and net information is not treated as a positive or negative fact. “All Levels” is not converted into beginner-friendly. Multiple URLs in a source field are handled as a single safe official link by the court-page renderer. Corrections and submissions are reviewed before becoming published facts.

How to read this report
This analysis uses 824 active PickleFinder listing records at build time. A record represents a directory listing, not necessarily one physical court, a municipality-wide total, or every place to play in Ontario. A facility can appear in a regional group as well as its city grouping.
Unknown is not zero. When a field is blank, false because it is unconfirmed, or recorded as “not listed,” this report treats it as unavailable rather than assuming the opposite. Counts describe what is documented in the dataset and should be checked against the linked official source before a trip.
