This partial ranking sums only positive court-count fields associated with each PickleFinder directory location label. Some labels, such as Toronto, North York, Etobicoke, and Scarborough, are not all independent municipalities. The table therefore does not claim to rank Ontario municipalities or total pickleball supply. It does not treat blanks as zero and it does not combine neighbourhood names into a larger city without an explicit group rule.

What this ranking cannot answer

It cannot identify Ontario’s largest court supply, best places to play, or available capacity. It is a transparency view of the records that currently disclose count data. A location can look lower simply because more listings lack a published count; the companion completeness report explains why a full ranking would be inappropriate.

How to read this report

This analysis uses 824 active PickleFinder listing records at build time. A record represents a directory listing, not necessarily one physical court, a municipality-wide total, or every place to play in Ontario. A facility can appear in a regional group as well as its city grouping.

Unknown is not zero. When a field is blank, false because it is unconfirmed, or recorded as “not listed,” this report treats it as unavailable rather than assuming the opposite. Counts describe what is documented in the dataset and should be checked against the linked official source before a trip.
