46 of 824 active listings are marked free. The remaining records are not necessarily paid: many have no confirmed cost information. This report therefore separates an explicit free flag from “not listed” rather than presenting uncertain cost as a fee.

A free listing can still have seasonal, program, permit, membership, booking, or time-specific restrictions. The directory does not infer unrestricted access. Before travelling, read the linked municipal, club, facility, or booking source for the relevant date and session.
How to read this report
This analysis uses 824 active PickleFinder listing records at build time. A record represents a directory listing, not necessarily one physical court, a municipality-wide total, or every place to play in Ontario. A facility can appear in a regional group as well as its city grouping.
Unknown is not zero. When a field is blank, false because it is unconfirmed, or recorded as “not listed,” this report treats it as unavailable rather than assuming the opposite. Counts describe what is documented in the dataset and should be checked against the linked official source before a trip.
